Business School; Why getting your Photography business visible is so important.
You know that feeling, when you know you need to get your Business Visible, but the fear of putting yourself and business out there, scares the hell out of you!
Well….I had that very same feeling, when I first started out…..I mean, what would people think of me? What would people make of what I was doing? And what if I just felt scared….I mean really scared of even talking about what I could offer, let alone post a selfie of myself on Facebook! I mean help!!!
Really, do I have to go and post images me! And let the world see me…..

“You are in business to make a living or whats the point in running a business.”
Well…the truth is, if you aren’t getting your business and yourself out there, then you aren’t going to make to a penny. So you can kiss good bye to earning a decent wage too…
The fact is your ideal Client isn’t going to connect with you either, which means you aren’t going to have any clients! Simple! And its the truth! Sorry, not sorry…..but you are in business to make a living or whats the point in running a business.
Which not only means, posting the odd selfie and behind the scenes image, but it also means posting videos and going live!!!
Your Audience, need to relate to you, they need to connect!
They also need to see your personality!

Photography is competitive! YOU know this, I dont need to explain this part to you….but, there is plenty of work to go around for everyone. The thing is, if you are not getting out there and telling potential Clients what it is you do, how the heck do you expect them to know? If you have found a way around this, then please let me know….in fact you need to share this with the world!
So this means, not only show casing your work and services, but actually connecting with your Audience, which means going LIVE! Sharing videos and behind the scenes images….
And selling! Not every post though….perhaps limit this to once or twice a week….YES! You are allowed to SELL! How the heck is your potential Client going to know what you have to offer, if you dont tell them!
But, its what you do the rest of the time that truly matters….how you connect, how you show up, how you inspire…
Think about your favorite brand/influencer or better still, a Photographer you look up to and admire….do they hide away in the shadows? Do they decide to put one post out a week and do a runner? Do they run as soon as the possibility of going LIVE is on the cards! Do they shy away when posting their offers or services? Do they post images of behind the scenes?

I bet those Photographers you look up to, are out there, literally everywhere you look, aren’t they?
I never got where I am now, by hiding away! You have to get out there and show the world what you have to offer!
Lets think about in another way….
Don’t you think you have a duty to share your talents, with the world? To use your skills, passion and knowledge to make a difference?
Now, I dont want you to think, that Photography is nothing! I mean you shouldn’t be in business if you think that Photography is just pressing a button on a Camera….its so much more than this, isn’t it?
You are there to serve, to address your Ideal Clients pain points!
To offer a service that will genuinely help your Client….
whether that’s, Brand Photography, New born Photography, Event Photography, Wedding Photography, Equine Photography etc…
Your images will either, serve a business owner, capture memories or help a Company gain more sales and drive their business forward! They may be used for Websites, Social media content, advertisements or just to put up on a living room wall!
The point is, YOU NEED to share what YOU can do….in order to SERVE these CLIENTS!
