Workshop Overview.
An introduction into basic Portraiture on location. Set in the lovely grounds of Townley Park and gardens, Emma will take you through the very basics of portraiture, learn how to capture, frame and compose a basic portrait shot. Experiment with aperture, light , composition and lens choice.
A model is provided for the workshop, this also enables students to learn tips on posing techniques, whilst getting creative with their camera.
Townley park is a wonderful backdrop...there really is a variety of places around the park perfect for location portraiture. A perfect chance for you to experiment.

Whats Excluded; Travel and any refreshments you may require. Please ensure you bring a drink, sweets etc with you. Your Camera insurance is not included in the price.
Please wear suitable footwear! Although the amount of walking and terrain underfoot isn't expected to be lengthy or rough, it is advisable to wear comfortable and practicable footwear.
Information information
Although, kept to minimum, there will be some walking involved during the workshop. Level of Walk; Easy. Underfoot; Easy. Please inform at time of booking if you have any mobility issues, to ascertain the suitability of this particular Workshop.

When booking, please advise on your Camera/ Kit and level of photographic/ Camera knowledge you have.
You may pay for the Workshop in full, or in two monthly installments, Payments are collected by ‘Go Cardless’.
Every effort is made to ensure a Workshop goes ahead. If the Workshop has to be cancelled due to bad weather/ illness, an alternative date will be rescheduled or individuals may also use any balance paid towards an alternative Workshop or 1:1 Photography tuition. No refunds are made.
Disclaimer; We understand how frustrating cancelling a Photography Workshop can be, however due to the nature of our business on occasion a Workshop has to be cancelled due to bad weather/ illness. We cannot be held responsible for the weather. If the weather changes for the worse during a Workshop, we will continue, where possible inside a Cafe/Coffee shop. Then return to practical Photography once the weather is better. The Workshop may finish early if the Workshop Leader determines the Weather too bad to continue. We will owe you the time you have left. Participants may use any balance paid/time owing towards an alternative Workshop or 1:1 Photography tuition. No refunds are made.
